Public Security Chief receives French Embassy security official [ar] [fr]

Chief of Public Security Major-General Tariq Al Hassan has received Brigadier Gilles Freedman, Regional Commissioner for French Police and Internal Security Attaché at the French Embassy in Bahrain. They reviewed security cooperation and coordination and issues of common interest.

Meanwhile, Assistant Chief of Public Security for Operations and Training Affairs Brigadier Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, French Ambassador HE Cécile Longé and Mr Freedman attended the final ceremony of a course on the skills of investigation, arrest and search organised by the Training Directorate of the Interior Ministry in cooperation with the French Embassy.

The course, from April 29 to May 2, was attended by officers at the Public Security Officers Club. On the occasion the Assistant Chief affirmed the Interior Ministry’s keenness to hold such courses to improve the efficiency of its personnel and enable officers to deal with challenges.
