Partial resumption of visa services

With a view to the forthcoming resumption of visa issuance by diplomatic and consular posts for certain categories of travelers and in compliance with local health directives, it is once again possible to enter applications online on the France Visas portal.

In addition to the special categories mentioned by the French Ministry of the Interior on the derogatory travel certificate
the following categories will initially be given priority treatment by this Embassy at the request of the French authorities:

• Studies/competition (short and long stay)
• Professional reason (long stay only)
• Family reason for establishment in France
• Persons holding a residence permit or a VLS-TS that expired after 15 June 2020.

Particular attention will be paid to the conditions for receiving visa applicants from a health point of view. This is why applicants are invited to check that their file is COMPLETE before coming, as no return will be authorized after the application has been submitted.
