Matthias Fekl, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, the Promotion of Tourism and French Nationals Abroad, today chaired the Strategic Council on Exports.
At the meeting, 10 partners in the internationalization of businesses signed an agreement creating the portal “France-international.fr”. It makes available to businesses – particularly Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and mid-caps – a single, user-friendly point of access to information and offers of services, both public and private, which are useful for simplifying their internationalization.
All the websites of the portal’s partners – organizations, public and professional bodies – are accessible there.

In the presence of M. Fekl, Business France and the non-profit organization Pacte PME also signed a charter to strengthen their cooperation. It will make it possible to draw up a compendium of good practice, improve the supply of placements for international volunteers in SMEs and identify businesses which may benefit from targeted international support. Thirty SMEs in the aerospace sector will benefit from it.
The charter will support actions to help internationalize SMEs and the development of concrete initiatives by major groups to support those businesses.
