Mrs. Amal Amélia Lakrafi, Member of Parliament representing French citizens living abroad, conducted a one-day visit to Bahrain on February 13, 2018, during which she met the French community and several French business actors in Bahrain.
On the occasion of her visit, Mrs. Lakrafi met with the Ambassador of France in Manama, HE Mrs. Cécile Longé, and Heads of Departments of the French Embassy. The French MP also visited the Lycée Français MLF Bahrain where she met staff and students. Mrs. Lakrafi held meetings with representatives of the business community and representatives of French associations in Bahrain, including the President of the UFE (Union of French Citizens Abroad), Mr. Rodolphe Melki.
Furthermore, the French MP met with French Foreign Trade Advisors (CCE’s) and the President of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bahrain (FCCIB), Mr. Jean-Christophe Durand.
Finally, during a reception at the Residence de France, Mrs. Lakrafi met with representatives of the French community who were glad to host, for the first time in Bahrain, a great MP who represents their interests and concerns in the Parliament.
